My greatest moments of inspiration come in times of solitude and inner reflection. When I draw I reach a meditative state of focus—hours melt away as I am immersed in my work, and deep in thought.
My journey as an artist began as a childhood dream that was forgotten and rediscovered after many years after becoming a Graphic Designer in New York City. I have worked for world class fashion brands like Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors, but after many years behind a monitor, I started to long for a creative outlet away from the computer.
I went back to basics, I grabbed a pencil and a scrap of paper. I ripped a picture of a celebrity out of a magazine and got to work on a portrait. I lost myself drawing for hours.

The portrait was far from great but it was a step in the right direction. I knew I would need to put in many hours a day to make improvements on my craft and skill. I decided the best way to stay motivated and chronicle my journey was to start a instagram page and post my drawings. First, I got lots of encouragement from my followers, then I was being asked for tips, and finally I was being asked for how they could buy a print. This website is an important milestone, but my journey still continues. I thank all of those who have followed and supported me along the way, and welcome all newcomers to share this journey with me.
